VX equipe diff

hey guys.. i drive a 2002 VX equipe optioned wit 17 inch wheels and HBD body kit and was just wondering if an LSD is an option in these cars from new and it seems to kick out alot easier than my mates cars who drive commdores and falcons and all have single spinners....one of my mates who drives an EL falcon was amazed how easy it kicked out when he drove it...he said it just skates...which it does...any help much appreciated

I think the code on the build plate is gu4 for lsd otherwise there should be a tag on the diff warning you its lsd and requires special oil.
