    Unhappy Bcm (body Control Module)

Just having problems like it seems everyone else is here at home with the BCM. Looks like I have to buy a new one. Can anyone tell me if there is a cheaper place than Holden spares to obtain a BCM?

no matter where you look you still have to take the car to holden to have them program it up.

what makes you think its the BCM for replacing?

Am replacing one tommorrow on a customers car but remember if you do replace one you must also replace the keys with the BCM as the new BCM will not register the old keys!!! "Thats what they told me anyway when I ordered the new BCM today." Cost all up for doing this job for the customer is including the two new keys reprogramming and installing the BCM $397.00 this is into a 97 VT Series 1 Berlina. I also looked for another supplier where I could possibly purchase a rebuilt unit but everyone told me that they do not touch the GM units and you have to buy genuine!!
