whats my vt worth?

Hi all....

im about to sell my beloved vt and upgrade. ( hopefully a vy, if finance persists! ) and would like to get an expert valuation from you guys on how much its worth. ( its my first commy so im not too cluey on what they are worth )
its a vt spac with the usual fruit - cruise , a/con , traction control , electric windows and is an auto v6 with 190 000km on the clock.
also has rear spoiler and skirts.

yeah probably if you give it a detail youd probably get 10k for it its the kms that hurt the sale mainly

I'd say anywhere between $8k and $10k, it really depends on who's buying and who's selling. Also depends on how many are on the market at the time, if there isn't many ask for more, VT's are virtually always in demand.

yeah i will have to agree with the other guys that the realtively high kms will hurt you.
a good clean or detail never hurts.

What year is it and what state?
Full service history?
How many owners?
whats the car used for? eg work (how far) or just weekends

this along with the stuff you have stated is what people want to know.

but a mate sold his 98 VT S pack with electric windows in Raven, full service history, very low kms and the best condition i have seen one in (apart from mine ) and he got $13K

I seen a 99 VT with clubsport kit, 103,000km's, 17" chromies, 5 speed manual for $9000.

I would think you would get between $7500 - $8500 trade in as a mate of mine was offered this much for his VT, with aftermarket mags etc.

I would advertise it for $11000 maybe a little more! to allow room to negotiate a little.
