Hi Guys,

I had to replace my starter solenoid the other day and had the battery off for a few hours.
Being a second hand vehicle, the security code is not readily available.

Is anyone able to help without me having to pay a stupid fee to a dealership for this info?

VIN 6H8VXK69A2L774513

If someone is in a position to help would be great, I cant afford to pay to get it at the moment but driving 2 hours a day with out music is doing my head in.

Thanks in advance, Kiwireubs.

Any auto electrician/mechanic with a Tech 2 will be able to retrieve your radio code for you.
You don't need to go to a dealership for it

Is your code not written in the owner's hand book that's stored in the glovebox?
The code to our unit was 5634 give that a go, you just never know.

If I remember correctly, each radio has it's own PIN Code, so using some other cars code or some common codes are not going to work.
I know that some Toyotas years ago used the last 4 numbers of their VIN. You could give that a try but I don't think it will work.
As I said, anyone with a Tech 2 can retrieve it for you or you will have to get it from Holden.
Either way you're gonna have to pay for it. Just remember to write it down for future reference.
