why fuel saving gadgets do not work

I came across this web site (below) and remembered that there has been some discussion on this forum in regards to fuel saving gadgets. I am usually a big sucker for gadgets just like the magnets! But now I am not so sure. Have a read. I still live in hope for one day the right gadget will come along.

I brought a couple of Hiclones several years ago ( shame on me!! ) useless bloody things... they had a three month guarantee - at the end of three months I thought, 'the engine must still be getting used to them!!!'
