hi guys.
i own a 99 wh statesman and was wondering whether i should go about lowering the car before or after i put on my rims?
One of the two will be done this week.
i have 19inch hsv vx gts rims and i either have to buy tyres and wait to get the car lowered or lower it first.
are there any problems assos with lowering before i put on the rims?
or should i put them on first?
or doesnt it matter at all.
thanx guys.

Before you go and lower your car, I highly recommend you read at least the start of the mammoth "Shame, Holden Shame!" thread by RKZ234. It's stickied at the top of this sub-forum and is about tyre wear in Independent Rear Suspension models, particulary those that are lowered. In summary you run the risk of only getting 10,000 kms out of your rear tyres. I have a WHII without tyre wear problems and I wouldn't even think of lowering the car now after reading through that.
