perhaps in the air condition section of the forum? You might get better luck there
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

Being a Berlina i assume it has climate control. All the directions for where the air blows out are vacuum controlled. When there is a vacuum leak in the system the default is that the air will blow out the windscreen demist.
Now to diagnosed the fault you will need to put a vacuum pump at control pack and check each individual circuit.

    Oh no!
I have a 1998 VT Berlina as well. I was wondering why when travelling at 110kph the air wasnt coming out of the vents only the window thingy. Also my air-cond doesnt even work, and it's always over 35oC during the summer where I live!

How much would it cost to have fixed? I have to get a new compressor as well.

Same problem here... air-con works occassionally sometime not... noticed that air went to the window demist at random times... usually when driving over 100

    is there an easy fix?

Wow $1000? The new compressor in my old VY was only about $300 odd, Fitting it shouldn't cost that much extra it wouldn't take that long

I never did get it done and it fixed itself, it had some sorta error in electrics that stopped it... weird.. Oh I just see compressor after all that. Mine was only the blower fan motor... sorry. But all the old commodores blew air whenever under load out onto the windscreen

SO what was wrong with yours? Mine blows air out the windscreen on cruise at 110kph and my compressor is noisy or something, so the machanic dis connected it and yeah. $1000 for a new one. Was told it would be cheaper at other places. I also need to replace the globe in my climate control so i can see the screen at night.:|
