    Hi guys,
    I just need to know which model commodore did the 16inch version of these rims came as standard?

    16"??? To the best of my knowledge they were only ever available in 17" for the VT SS S1

    There you go, I always wondered which cars the 16" SS rims came from.
    Yes I have seen them on VTs around town. I have seen the R16 on the tyres myself.

    Well I never knew they were available in 16". Makes sense they were released as 16" for the utes as it's virtually impossible to get a 'commercial' 8 ply tyre for 17"+ rims to keep load rating legal.

    Interesting fact, all the SS utes VS-VZ got 1 inch smaller wheels then its brother (sedan).

    I think the majority of ute owners didn't give a stuff about load rating did we?? whacking on 18" or 19" even 20" wheels.
