Ok, my series 1 Berlina VX 'sounds like' it loses power when I press on the brake pedal and go to stop but it doesn't lose power? It sounds like it misses a rev or something? Not sure if it's anything. Also, do they run rougher while idling? Myne does.

My knowledge of cars is very limited and not sure whether I'm worrying about nothing?

my vt s1 idles fine, but transmits the vibration thru the dead motor mounts , which makes it feel rough

i know mines a VS 1, but compared to a VT 11 that my brother in law owns, it idles like crap. in fact, I have noticed that all VT's seem to have a smoother idle than VS's.
but then again I need to clean my throttle body & I have a two and a half inch exhaust which I assume drops the backpressure which leads to a rougher idle(?)

Mine does too. I'm buying a new cam angle sensor tomorrow because I have a sneaking suspicion that it's faulty. (at least, the engine fault codes say so and one of the symptoms of it failing is rough idle)
