2002 VX commodore Lumina series 2! stock as rock!
Hi does anyone know where i can get detailed specs on the VX commodore.

I want to know stuff like what kind of diff my vx is using, Locked, open, viscous? also does the vx commodore have anti roll bars? if so what settings are they?

best site ive seen is this one. http://www.users.on.net/~nweber/commodore/vx/index.html

I want to know these settings so i can replicate my vx into this driving simulator - > www.liveforspeed.net

Also how long would my ecotec last? can it go up to 500,000 km!

What model is your VX?? Unless it is a SS chances are that the diff is just a standard open centre.

The VX does have anti roll bars (poke your head underneith and have a look!). If you have to ask if your car has sway bars, chances are that even if anybody did know what they are rated at, you wouldn't know what that means.

As for how long your ecotec will last - how long is a piece of string??? Most engines should get well over 200,000 km with only normal servicing. My VP (pre ecotech V6) had over 400,000 km on it and still in *excellent* condition when I sold it. It was never serviced particularly well although it did a lot of hwy k's. Not even the water pump was changed.

yeah, that site you mentioned dr dori is pretty good...another good one that has basic specs is redbook, it doesnt go into as much detail but its still got most things (where ive noticed on that users site there are models will little to no info)

My mechanic reckons my VN Calais motor had the compression of a new car at 370,000. As far as I know it's still going well.

If you look after it, I imagine an ecotec would be just as good.

Ive got LFS S2 full, best driving sim ever :p

Ive done a few replica setups of a vn, vs, vt and vx. All did pretty acurrate 1/4 mile times, fun trying to actually race it against a normal car in the game :p
