I got GAS!! How many Ks out of a tank? ?

Hey all!

For those of you with LPG what r u averaging ks wise out of a tank.
I just went thorugh my first tank and got 460ks b4 the fuel light came on.

Im just curious as to what every1 else is getting.

I'm running a wagon with factory gas. Tank has 56 usable at the moment (need adjustment to fill properly) Ran it out at 432 km = 13 litre per 100km. My driving is a mix or urban and country and I'm a "lighfoot". Wagon weighs 1840kg on gas with half a tank of petrol

VN V6. 63 usuable litres. I get between 420 and 480km.

whats the setup cost for aftermarket gas.... what's the system... did you get direct injection.... whats the best brand...

The place I went with did the factory setup (Impco).
All went well till they took it to Holden and they said the system isn't designed for a manual only for an auto. . . . . D'oh!!
So they had to change a couple things, basically looks normal under the hood, no giant gas mixer.

Unfortuantly no gas injection, but I honestly can not tell the difference between the two, except at cold idle. Runs exactly the same!!!!

Cost me $3050 with flash lube installed. But with fuel goin up again, Im glad I did it. Had to wait since last September though. Had it for bout 3 wks now.
And I still get a big smile when I fill up for 35 bucks while every1 else is pating 70 or 80 odd bucks!!! hehehe

wont be long till lpgs around the price of petrol. the way everyones out getting gas conversions. the gov will see it as another way to get money cause the amount of people buying petrol will drop a shit load. wont be in the nex year or maybe the nex 5 but itll happen. unless petrol goes down.

The futures is to hard to predict. . . . At the time I got it done, fuel seemed to be settling down. I was thinking, should I or shouldn't i. . . .
But I did. . . . .

As for the government well there will be an excise on it eventually but not staring till 2011, so by then LPG will be $1.00 a litre and fuel should be roughly every1s weekly wage to fill up a tank. . . .

Think I'll by a horse next. . . .

lol yea a orse maybe the way to go hahahah. yea the prices wont be for ages so enjoy it while ya got it. i just get shitty at all this money us working aussies have to pay to live. i wont start.....or the post will be 20 pages long.

my vt wagon gets about 15.5L/100km. i got the tank installed in the spare tyre compartment so you cant see it and now i can just fill up on both fuel and lpg when i go station. real convenient.
