hello poeple im new to the just commodore forum i have a black 02 vx s2 s-pac 5spd i live near penrith
heres a pic of my car its stock at the moment but not for long
things that im going to do to it monaro bonnet, monaro front and back lights, wide body kit, gold mags, lowerd

hey man i have a 02 vx with the full vz monaro front end on its.
its good ah.
amke sure you get the geniun holden plastic kit cause the fiberglass is dodgy.
and i dont reckon thoes mags will suit it.
i have liek 16 spoke mags on mine and ther 19" and they look good ah just have a look in my ride for "my 2002 vx"

But I think you'll have a problem. Monaro headlights don't fit the VX. Monaro headlights are only interchangable with Monaros and VTs.

Also, just a personal opinion here but the Monaro bonnet with the dual intake ports looks, well wrong on a Commodore. About as wrong as the side vents on the new SS or the hump in the bonnet of the BA series V8 Fords. None of them serve any purpose at all and take away from the subtle attractiveness of the cars.

And with regards to the Monaro ported bonnet, you thought your engine bay was dirty last time you popped the hood................

Fair enough. I still think they look 'odd' on any car (incl. the Monaro).

How do you plan to stop water from getting to your air filter?

i dont realy know just yet im going to look at my gf's friends dads car on the weekend to see how it works on his monaro iv see a pic how it looks and it looks like i can do the samething to mine im going to try and do a photo chop to see how it will go ill put up a pic with i work it out

you don't want monaro headlights - you want ss ones i think.
they are the ones with the black inserts.

thanks guys for the feel back and with the head lights its the euro style ones its still the vx light but with its black

oh and when i was at the drags i ran a 16.65 at 140.06ks but to bad seeing thats stock as a rock
and i dyno my car on sunday i got 107.9rwkw thats 144.7hp

now seeing i did the 1/4mile and dyno it now i only have to put the kit on and start doing some mods hehehe
