VX Comm Specifications

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find out what all of the dealer codes represent on the compliance plates?? ie diff ratios, suspension type, gearbox type ect ect.. I'm basically trying to find out at the moment what type of diff I have in my VX Executive 5.7 man and not having much joy. I know it's not an LSD from jacking the vehicle and spinning the wheels and am thinking about getting one but would also like to increase the ratio whilst I'm at it but need to find out what I have at present.. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mate there should be a sticky on your diff and it tells you what it is and what ratio it is running at mate. Its on the right hand side of the diff you are looking at your cars arse.....

I thought the LS1 came with 3.08 as standard?????? or am I wrong, I looked at my mates VY SS and its 3.08... Wasn't 3.46 an option, something aftermarket as well????

MMMM.. not sure but my compliance states axle GS9 3.46/1 and I checked the sticker as you mentioned earlier and it confirms this ratio..

autos and manuals use different ratios....
is ya mates an auto? which uses a 3.08
the manuals use the 3.46 ratio....
