All have them, just some are painted and some aren't.

The "S" and "SS" do not have them

Quite a few cars now dont have them, it was more prevailant in older models

it was just that my VX has them.... but i've seem a lot of VT's and VX's for sale dont have them... maybe the owners think the strips make the car look like its a grand-dad or grand-ma owner.......

they are not there too protect the doors from other car doors. its main use is it keeps the car a lil bit cleaner. its stops some of the dirty water and mud get all over the doors(and more imprortanty your windows)
