    Default 97-00,vt-any difference

Still looking for my new vt. Any difference between a 97-00. I was just wondering this as the 2000's with say 120,000kms are still dearer than 97,98 with the same kms. I know obviously one is newer than the other, but if their basically the same model, shape ,performance etc than it's the cheaper one for me. But I'm no expert.
    Cheers

Few cosmetic changes, few different internal engine changes for the 6, from mid 99 on the 5 litre become the LS1 Gen 3. Changes are up a bit higher simply because the car is 1 2 3 or 4 years newer.

The most significant change was the rear suspension. The series 2 VT had a mod to reduce the excessive tyre wear on the inside of the rear tyres. There are plenty of threads regarding tyre wear, some stating it continued through to VX so choose wisely. Try finding a car with 50% wear to see the wear pattern.

I have a 2000 model VT2 and just did a tyre rotation yesterday. The tyres had perfect wear across the tread width.

Regardless of series 1 or 2, if you want to save your tyres, get a camber kit.
