C2R Bodykit

was just wondering if anyone knows where to get the C2R bodykit for the VXs and more importantly what they are worth?

C2R went under. dont know why.

but the cost around the $2000 mark.(cos they were mad of ABS Plastic not cheap fiberglass)

I heard that the moulds were bought by another company...

Whether they are actually using them, I don't know...

Who that company is?

They are a great looking kit! And can take the knocks and bumps of day to day driving real well! Only prob is making the paint stick. Crap plastic to paint onto...

To be honest I never really liked the look of the C2R kits by looking at photos. Seen a VX on the road 2 days ago with one on though and it looked hot.. I'd definately get one if it was available at the right price.

Not that simple...

The plastic used is the same used on the older falcon bars and even with the most careful preperation can still cause delamination of the paint.

There are many different approaches that can be taken to try and prevent it from happening but it's the plastics properties that just don't allow the paint to bond correctly to it.
