    Default Removing Air Box

    Hey all,

Was wondering on how the hell you remove the lower air box from a VT v6 Commodore. Tried on the weekend and i couldn't get the two weird looking screws to move.

    Any help would be great.

inside the air box or inside the wheel arch? cause there seems to be a nut inside the wheel arch. And in the air box it has a weird type of head to it.

You need a torx bit like everyone else said, can't remember what size it was t-27 or t-30 I think? One of the bolts near the wheel arch, on the outside of airbox is a prick to get at.

I just pull it hard. dont need to unscrew it. There are rubber grommets that allow you to pull it off. The screw just stays in its place. Thats how i do it anyway.

before u upgrade if that wont be for a while just mod it coz its 10 times better than puttin a pod on n u can get defected for it. just open the inlet up a lil more cut the plastic on the inside around the inlet hole. and put a hi flow filter in it does make a diff
