Tapping noise coming from back end

Just baught a vt commodore couple months ago, i only just noticed a large tapping noise coming from the rear when im driving, me dad thinks it's the velocity joints coming out of the diff..

I was just wondering if you guys have experianced this or anything, or know anything about it.

BTW the car has 128,000kms now,

It also happens driving in a straight line etc, tap tap tap tap etc.

Might sound stupid but i had the same thing not long ago it wqas a screw in the tyre

haha similar thing happen to me, but it was just a small stone..

lol trippers, anyways the noise just went away rofl, probably a stick instead of a screw or stone lol

i had the same problame cheak that your exaust pipe has a rubber above it where the bands are to hold it up it mite be hitting on the boddy
