Coolant Flush

Hey guys just bout to do coolant fush on the commodore SS V8

Was just checking does anybody know do they have a bleed nipple on them like other Commodore engines.. or is just a matter of dropping off the bottom radiator hose dumping it and the refill it and keep and eye on the temp gauge

Also where bouts is the thermostat located

I don't know anything about V8s, but the thermostat is usually located where the top radiator hose connects to the engine.

Firstly for what i could work out the lower radiator hose leads to the thermostat on a 5.7 gen III. And flushing the system also requires that the nock sensors are needed to be removed from the cylinder block to drain the remaider of your coolant from the engine. As for the bleed nipple sorry cannot help there.
