Do you work at a Holden Dealer?

hey guys i was wondering if anyone works at holden.

i wanted to get some stuff, its just small stuff yet.

wanted to get the chrome door handles, transmission knob and hand brake knob. Was also thinking of getting the woodgrain dash but would it be better to get these stuff from a wrecker? most of these things are standard in the calais.

oh and also wanted to get a red coloured speedo maybe, cuz it is a bit expensive for the effect it gives.

well i'm from melbourne, western suburbs, so even if your not in the area a simple price check would be terrific.

i work at a mobile phone retailer if anyone wants a great price on a phone in exchange. otherwise i'm at uni and i can't really offer anything in exchange. well i might cut ur grass for the parts and u can spend the weekend with the mrs. joking.

All the parts you mentioned are fairly high demand parts. Holden dealer will bend you over for all of them. Your best bet is eBay..

But I'll give you (reasonably) accurate estimates on prices..

Chrome door handles $80
Transmission Knob and Hand Brake - $110
Woodgrain dash $150 (at least)
Red instrument backing $100

i was looking for a white one with red writing.
just thought i'd post it cuz i reckon the white with the red writing looks better. give us ur opinion

EDIT: i have found so much other crap on ebay. i just need to save up the money for this stuff. even found a place that does leather interiors for $550. nice. guess i'll be working extra shifts during the holidays.

ok guys ebay is killer always pleantly of good stuff on there but as mentioned above the stuff u are after so is every 1 else so set ur limit and beware bidding moves very fast on items like these but if ur lucky u could pick up a bargin

yeah the worst is when theres dieing seconds u bid and then u get logged out of ebay so by the time u log in u have been out bidded.

Those leather interiors are just leather seat covers.. There's no way to get a (minimum) $2 grand job for $550..

Even on eBay..

You get what you pay for..

yeah but the seat covers still look nice and i might be able to get someone into buying my car who think its a 2grand leather job.
