    Default Rubbing Guard Bad

    Hey peoples....
I just got some nice 19inch ROH Vapor rims on my car...yay!

And not the LHS rear is rubbing like a mofo! not "yay!"

I went to a panel beater and he is going to roll the guard for me this coming tuesday...

My concern is what happens if i still get rubbing after the guard is rolled?
What are my options other than raising my car or gettin different rims..?

i got the same wheels on my VT with SL springs and I have still a little clearance so my tyres doesn't rub on the guard... strange

edit* I just looked at a pic of your VX damn them springs are low and probably why they are rubbing against your guards

lol, at least with the old solid diffs you can buy an adjusterable panhard rod to sovle this problem. I had a VL with 17's with SL it loved to scrap against the rear tyres if I had anyone else in the car with me.

There is nothing wrong with Holden diff design. It's just some people have their heads so far up their asses they fail to see that if you lower your car to that extreme, your effectively changing the dynamics of the car.I've seen your car, nice, but too low.We all live and learn and trial and error plays a big part, looks are'nt everything.

Every other car manufacturer managed to get it right....including ford...
Jst holden sorta made a compromise..

Rolled the guard myself today with a mate...
An hour job with a hammer...looked fine....
THen we got over excited and screwed up abit...

To a degree you are right in relation to the comparison to other cars diff design, but,if you lower too much then scrubbing(especially with rear seat passengers)becomes a real issue.

Yeah i know...the way i have it lowered is pretty extreme...
But i figure...u only live once, you may aswell live it the way u want...

Its not like im gonna be running around modifiing the family car in the future...
So i figure i should get all those "holden boy" dreams outta the way now...

Still yet to see what my car has to say to the idea of being full... :P
