When you say they are staying on, do you mean they don't turn off when you turn the wheel? If so there is a cancel spring insside the steer column top that is probably broken. are they flashing or steady on?, can you turn them off by moving the indicator stalk?

my mums vt got same prob , the drivers side blinkers stay steady on , even when u lock the car and engine off... dosnt make a difference when turning wheel or indicator stalk , left blinkers work fine. Dnt think it would be the relay as left blinkers work ok. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance

Thumbs down I need help too

Both my Indicators are broken, that is they do not automatically turn off when the wheel returns to center. ( theywork perfectly apart from that, all I do is manually turn them off) Is there a way to fix this myself or do I have to pay somebody.

I have seen this on two other VS commodores, is this a common problem.

I think your problem is what LOUT said the little cancelling stick is not turning the indicators off when you go round the corner and return the wheel back to straight
