V6 3 inch exhaust

Ive got a v6 with a 2.5inch catback with no rear muffler.
Im thinking about changing it to a 3inch even though im getting my dads vy gen3 calais next year i just want something new to play around with.
How does a v6 with a 3inch sound? anyone got a 3inch on their v6 with no rear muffler or even with one?

not quiet sure ive been told 3" is too big, not enuff back pressure or sumin. so 2 1/2 is doing me fine

its not for power but my mate who has a manual AU XR8 which ive started to like has a mad exhaust setup on his, twin 3 inch pipes and it sounds bloody good, i just want a deeper grumble even though its loud enough already

i got 3 inch stainless seems fine and back preasure no prob if use decent muffler

lol, apart from sounding like a complete piece of shit, it will drop in performance, guys i have spoken to say 2 inch for NA is perfect

the v6 comes with 2 1/4 inch standard so 2 1/2 is perfect for it.
get extractors like the others say for a deeper rumble.

a v6 will never sound like a v8. its just the nature of the beast.
