my mate bought a XR6-T.
not that i'm giving ford anything that they don't deserve, but he really made an "alright" car absolute rubbish by putting a BOV on it. sounds stupid now. BOVs are, in my opinion, only for jap turbo cars like 200sx and skylines etc.

Get a horn operated BOV.. It's basically just a sound wired to your horn.. Rev the car, get off the acclerator and press the horn.. PSSSSHHHHHTTTT...

I wasn't joking above..

BTW, do you know what a BOV does? A stock car cannot generate enough boost between the snorkel and TB to make a PSSHHHTT..

ive found that you can actually buy a speaker for your car that will make the sound like a bov hahahaha

come on seriously, why. if the cars actually got forced induction then yes be my guest but even the thought of putting one on a car when not needed just to hear a "pssssst" is wank factor in my thoughts.
