wh statesman front bar

if i wanted to put a WH statesman front bar on a vt....do u need 2 replace the bonnet too, coz the grill is attatched to the bonnet isnt it?

and does anyone have pics of a vt with the wh front end?

It looks like you would need a new bonnet. This should be a popular conversion but I don't think I've ever seen or heard of one.

thanx glassjowned...yeh thats y i was thinkin bout doin it, ive never seen it done, and i recon it would look pretty nice....
if anyone has any info on it...prices, where u can buy it etc would b great!
im not sure wether the front fenders would need to be changed or if they r the same?

It would look pretty nice, thinking about it myself now, but with the Grange bumper, only thing is I'd have to get VT headlights for my VX.

The quarter panels look the same to me too.

Dunno if places even make grange bodykits so might be hard to track one down, but yeah, better than looking like everyone else's car. Good luck

There's a wagon getting around in Adelaide with a wh front end on it, looks bloody nice, Stock but nice. I was under the impression the the wagons and statesman's had a wider front end than the commie, could be wrong though.

I was thinking about putting just the grill of a WH onto my VT... Probably too much of a hassle though hey? Should look tops good luck with it all
