Trac & Power buttons lback light

I had a look for the thread on this but cant find it

Anyway while i still have my dash apart thought i would check and see if theses are suppose to have globes in the two buttons..

They do but when i pulled them out and pulled the little green caps off (VERY CAREFULLY) i cant see how you get the globe out of the holder..


Any idea people

Also the globe in the trip computer button ie up down and mode there is a globe in there and i have pulled it out but i tried to use pliers very gently but i busted the globe and now cant get the rest of it out... Do you just rplace the holder and all or what

Just go to a dealer and go to the spares counter.
They should sell u replacement globes with little green condoms on them an all.
From memory they're bout 6 bucks each, very pricey for a globe. . .

i put the heater controls back in yesterday and now two of the glodes are blown so i mite depending on price just replace all that way its done

is it the same for the computer controls eg mode and up down buttons

...except for the Power Window switches - these seem to be LEDs?

Just replaced 3 bulbs blown behind my Climate Controller. $8 per globe with holder at Sundell Holden - Chatswood.
(also replaced 2 busted window sliders - the plastic inserts).

I'd say all the globes are the same....

Thought that but when you look at the globe and holders side by side they look very different the trac and power button ones are much smaller

Wow Wow Wow....
Buys stuff from holden is a massive rip...
Just today i replaced every globe in my center console and all the buttons....

I think all in all it was like 12 globes, if i'd gotten em from holden i would have been up for almost 100 bux...

Instead i took a trip to dick smith, picked up 3 five packs of 12v 5mm globes and wired these into the holden plastic holders...

The whole exercise cost me about 10 bux...

i got a s*** load of spare globes from doin the converstions on ppls cars (VT,VX,VU) u can have em all if ya like 4 nothing hahaha i have no use 4 them???? PM me if u do

hahaha and ive PM u both havent PM u again yet wagon man still goin through wat globes work and 1ns that dont. all up i rekon i have bout 60 globes :| where the f**** did these come from lol oh btw not all the globes r the same some r diff sizes as was mentioned i think i have about 6 diff types so far.... and doesnt bloody help wen there r 4 diff types of heater controls i mean wtf holden?? y haha
