hello all has any one here changed ther sway bar links?if so was it hard to get the new ones back on as it looks like a easy job but thats when it usually turns in to a nitemare any info or tips would be great cheers all.ps i have a vt
Ive just done mine 2 days ago, what i had to do was jack up the oppisite side untill the wheel is off the ground then you will find if you can just slip your hand in your gaurd on the side that needs replacing, you can fit the pin, you might need to turn the wheel left or right so the pin actually goes in, because mine was like half an inch off going in till i turned my wheel all the way left, made it harder to get in there, but i eventually got it, it was quite a pain.
thanks for your tips i have the Zshaped after market bars with nolothane bushes so i hope it wont be to hard ne way ill post some pics to show you all when ther on cheers
when I did mine, I did it the long way. dropped the swaybar off, did the swaybar end, then refitted it with help to line it up on the struts
