just wonderin if someone can tell me wat this is? it fell from underneath the center console/handbrake area.

inside the console there is a cable to connect a mobile phone, possibly something to do with that

It isn't the mobile phone connector. I can't say I've seen it before, maybe the handbrake switch. Does the handbrake light on your dash light up when you apply the hand brake? If so, it's not the handbrake switch.
It may be something the previous owner installed.

any unusual warning lights on? kinda does look like the handbrake button

its a valet button for a crappy aftermarket alarm like a stinger or similar

it is the valet button, didnt even relize that it was a button till now.
