    Default Radiator Flush

Is it a big deal doing a radiator flush (And refill with proper coolant) on a VT? Whats the best way to go about it?

I assume cold engine, open radiator cap, drop the bottom hose off the radiator or engine (Which is easier?), let drain, ane maybe flush with a hose. Then refill with coolant, and fill with water.

What about the overflow tank - should that be washed out & filled with water or water/coolant mix?

overflow tank should be filled with the same coolant mix. Holden/eagers also give you sawdust tablets to crush up and add to the system. Apparently maintains the seal in & prolongs your water pump.

Most mechanics discount the usefulness of the coolant pills on ecotecs as just being more cash for the dealer. They were originally for the old Buick engines.
