air con / fan cant go to 4 (turns off)

hi guys - i have a stange issue with my fan / air con. if i turn the fan to 4, with the air con on or off, the fan turns off. the air con / fan works perfectly on 1, 2 or 3. has anyone had this problem before? It seems odd!

I Had the exact same problem check the blower fuse i think it is or one of the fan fuses. One of mine was blown replaced it and fixed it no more problems.
