Is a piggyback a good option

Im posting on behalf of my little brother who owns a lightly modified (cat-back exhaust, Pace-makers, CAI) 2001 V6 VX Executive Series II (auto). He can get his hand on a GReddy Emanage (blue unit), which includes the ignition and injection harness quite cheap.

Is there a great benefit in installing the emanage? Im unsure of his future modifying plans but what additional mods could be done to complement the usage of the emanage.

Or should he stay clear of the piggy back system and just Chip his car. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.

I just had a piggy back Haltech interceptor connected to my vs-vt l67 supercharged engine and i am not sure if they are close but haltech does fuel and ignition, and it is great if you intend on using std injectors because the haltech didnt have cold start functions, i would check that 1st but if you dont intend on changing injector size they are great as you can have easy and cheap control over your engine
