Just wondering how easy it is to remove the calipers as I want to paint them, or should I just leave them on and paint them that way? Can someone tell me how to remove them?
Thanks guys....![]()
There are 2 bolts that hold the calipers in place, undo those and the brake hose and they will come off. Brake fluid will leak from the hose that is removed so you will need to find a way to block the hose or let the fluid drain and refill later when you bleed that brakes.
Thanks heaps for that, will give it a go
you can use vice grips of your carefull to block the brake lines, use a rag or something soft between the jaws and the hose to prevent damage. also clean the calipers real good before painting etc. there is proper paint for calipers. it's heat resistant and also chemically resistant etc. VHT do a range
