Stuck in 3rd gear

hey I was driving and the warning light came on in the temp gauge and I was stuck in third.. I pulled over and turned the car off. Started it again and it was fine no light.. is my transmission stuffed?

check fluids first and best to get it service before you spend big $$

yeh it hasnt happened since, but every now and again the lights comes on for a second or two.. Ive just had my car serviced by holden wouldnt they check this?

if i didnt happen for holden they may not have noticed, with it being stuck in 3rd in may have gone into limp home mode check for any error codes and see what it spits out
