Default SS headlights

Hi all, just got some VX SS headlights off ebay, 2nd hand. I'm a bit sus on them, as in i duno if there the genuine article, and whether they're standard ones that have been pulled apart n had the black insert put in place then re-sealed.
I went across to the local dealership n got part numbers for SS headlights. the numbers he gave me were:
Right: 92089556
Left: 92089557

The number on the lights i bought have a heap of numbers, but one out of each has a black circle stamped next to it, im guessing this is the part number for that particular light. Whats weird is that the drivers side light has one extra number stamped on it than the passenger side one. The drivers side number is: 92112255RHD
the passenger side one is 92089557RHD
Why would they both be RHD? does this mean right hand drive for aussie cars maybe, i duno...

Another thing thats got me sus is the edge of the light at the blinker end is silver, then changes back to black. I thought the SS has black all the way to the edge. Correct me if im wrong though, cos after lookin at these things i wouldnt be surprised if there even VT back assembly moulds with the whole VX front section with the teardropp glued/screwed in place. Another thing too is that there's two metal clips on the top and bottom edges of the passenger side, but the drivers side one only hs the bottom one. Are they supposed to go right round?

I know there probably fussy questions to ask, but could any SS owners please let me know what the go is? Thanks alot.

Yeah well my past experiences with buying stuff off ebay for the car's been smooth sailing. I bought pacemaker extractors in the past for my vl off ebay, n they were brand new, $100 off retail quotes i'd gotten.
But yeah genuine headlights from Holden cost $328.90 per light. Don't really wana spend $660 as you'd imagine.

RHD stands for RHD cars as sold in Australia. On low beam they dip to the left. Some of these cars were sold in LHD markets where the lights dip to the right and would probably have LHD in the part number. I really can't see why anybody would bother to pull them apart and then re-seal them to make forgeries.

Yeah i thought it was sumthin to do with that. After looking at them real close the lights have been re-sealed and had some minor repair done to them. The bloke i got em off also fixes bodykits aswell, he's apparently a plastic welder, so thats y i was so sus. i checked sum pics n zoomed in, n from what it looks like on the cars, the black does go allthe way to the edge. I think i've been jippd

Payed $260 including freight. The auction says it was for $360 because the front bar was included but i didnt want it so they just sold me the lights.

se if this link works, not sure if it will because it's a link out of the My Ebay section, but let me know.

Yeah i realise the 100% feedback and genuine part, but if u seen em close up you'd tell they'd been plastic welded in places and put back together. They've probly been off a car in a front ender cos the moutning brackets have been repaired.
How come every other set i see on a factory SS have black all the way to the edge, and the part numbers are way off?

seems like a pretty good deal, $260. $300 (including postage) will buy you the euro VX headlights with globes brand new.

but what i find weird is he is selling the lights for $260 but the SS bar for another $100
