I sprayd my mates while they were on the car.. just tape your car up and go for it.

Go to a panel beater and get the double sided tape they use is not much for it just got to clean the back off the irst so they stick to the car better, it will take bout 5 mins to do it.

Kmart/Big W sell tubes of weather strip glue for about $5. Look in the auto section.

Have you got them off already? If they are the thick ones like in the calais I have been told they are glued on really well and might warp when trying to remove them or even worse it might leave ripples in your door. As I said it is just what I've heard. I know a few guys that just sprayed them on the car and they came out good, wouldn't know they were sprayed on the car.

the strips take their place in the bin really well. They ruin the smooth finish on the car

I painted some a while ago .Just have to make sure they are clean , i used steel wool to clean them up . Then just used some masking tape and newspaper . Then spray with plastic primer ,let it dry then use grey primer ,then a couple coats of colour followd by a couple of coats of clear . Just take your time and you will be rewarded .

Sprayed with a spray gun but if you have a airbrush that would probably be better. As long as you mask up well and don't get too heavy with the paint it should come out good, and just go to a decent paint supplier and have a chat to them sam they usually are pretty good with advice.

Nicko everyone has different tastes and you obviously don't like them but I reckon the calais ones with the chrome look great and I wouldn't really say the car has a smooth finish without them cause of the indent underneath them.

I dont think the indent looks half bad....

i think it is much better with the indent, rather than having those stripps hanging off the side of your car..
