vx handbrake button removal

hi all, how do i remove the handbrake button on my vx berlina as i want to replace it with a chrome button?

It just unscrews.
I had to use a cloth and a pair of pliers to get a grip on the black plastic one.
I went with the satin finish.

thanks very much, but i will stick to shiny chrome as my gear knob and door handles are both shiny chrome now! cheers Huw
