Number Plates no more!!

Last week, Sat, I ordered on line (RTA), New plates for my car!! QICSIX.
All good until Monday morning,when I get a phone call, Sorry these numberplates have been checked and VIC ROADS has decided that they are unsuitable for victorian roads!! What Tha?? they further explained that because of the Anti Hoon Laws, They are no longer acceptable.

Just a warning to anyone with Plates with an abbreviated, (quick, fast, sideways, skid etc etc)

They also advised me that any car with these type of plates already will be allowed, but if anyone tries to transfer these type of plates to another car, they will be banned for use on victorian roads!!

Thats ridiculous, there are plates up here (Sydney) with CME4KG (see me for kilograms!!!), SXYWXY (Sexy wrxey) and a million other good and stupid plates. NSW lets you do whatever, as along they make the money.

I Ordered SUKNFK (Suck n ****) now i knew it was a long shot but they let me order them & pay for them and when i went 2 pick em up they told me i couldnt have em & said they would send a refund....

i never go the refund 4 like 3 weeks either....

Thats bull **** its only a number plate and i dont think thats gonna stop people from doing burnouts or drag racing anyway.

Thats f'ing stupid mate.... Sorry to hear it! Freaking laws are getting out of hand... Like, before you know it "red" cars will be banned cause "Red ones go faster" and rims such as the "JET" and "DRIFT" will be disallowed cause their suggestive.... WTF!

I wanna get plates that r "JSTA6" or "JUSTA6" so they should be alright...RIGHT?

Absolute rubbish isn't it mate!

ohh thats bull**** ay... i tried to order XP11MP and they rejected me for it... i was heaps cut... bunch of dikheads need to worry about more important things than personal plates...
i read in the paper a while ago too that they want to ban the use of FOR SALE stickers on cars because they think people are using them as a "secret code" for street racing...

as i posted in another thread my advice to any1 wanting a nice car is to forget about it! as these anti hooning laws are slowly but surely phaseing out all modded cars or even cars that look sporty! the only people who can own sporty cars these days is the jokers who can afford new clubbys and stuff but if you own an old school commy your an instant hoon! imo these laws are getting beyond a joke! and as most would know its all just for revenue newayz! so sorry fellas but unless the modded car clubs band together and go to shows like aca or today tonite with a legit story we are all going to fall down the cracks

Not real stressed!!b Leaves me an Xtra $400 to make my car that little bit quicker.lol. These plates were ordered on line so, the phonecall was possibly from head office!! Anyways, Cheers and Good luck to all the boys who already have Good plates to display!!
