Somehow I don't think the Gregorys covers that topic

But, good question. You could just go and attack the facia with a few cans of $2 spray paint, and be VERY disappointed with the result.

Basically, the prep work you do is more important than what paint you use in the end.

Lightly sandback the facia and go over it with prepsol, then a coat or two of a plastic primer. Let dry, and the lightly sand again, and go over with the prepsol once more. Then paint away. I'd suggest a clear coat over top to protect the paint work and it will also help keep it clean.

If you need any more detail, (bit basic, sorry bout that ) just ask.

I've used prepsol on anything I've ever painted. Plastic, metal whatever it maybe.... And it's used by my dad's missus who has painted now 3 motorbikes. And what are the fairings made of? Plastic.

I've never known anyone to have a problem with it....

One of the first things in painting industry, Learn the difference between prepsol , Prepwash & Plastiprep.

Industry standard prepsol = Melty Melty....

Well to be completely honest, I've always just called it wax and grease remover. But i got sick of people asking me what it was. If they don't know how to find the 'prepsol' thats safe for plastic, well more fool them.

Better off saying "Wax & Grease Remover" I mostly refer to it as that for plastics, Safer because most Wax & Grease Removers = Plastic safe unless there industry specific versions or stated on can.

I gave a light sand with fine wet and dry.Washed.Then used 2 coats of primer.Used a can of VHT vinyl spray from Autobahn.Lastly use a can of clear coat to really make it shine.Mine has held up for 18 months now no prob and everyone who sees it comments on it.
