I found the early TC modules a pain in the backside and even downright dangerous in certain circumstances. To get my VY SS (manual) off the line at times, especially when it was wet, slippery or towing I found a very minor wheel spin (only 1 or two revolutions) was a much better alternative than slipping the clutch. The TC module seemed to cut in too early for my liking and cut the power exactly at the wrong time. I used to turn it off whenever I towed. That said I can see it will prevent some nasty accidents when a noob gets behind the wheel.

The latest system in my VE is very good though. It seems to have a great balance of saving ones' arse without cutting in to early.
