There was a thread on this, maybe it was lost on the hosting debacle.

Other than cost, things to look out for will be how much boost you can put into a l36.

From reading that thread from above they seem really good. But if that is the price, I think it would be cheaper to sell your current ride and by a factory supercharged model.

I would definitely call and get a price or maybe send a pm to the guy listed in the above thread.

It sounds like they are constantly improving their products through research selling a fair few of them, so maybe scale of economies will help bring the price down a bit.

Well it would probably be cheaper to go and buy a VT/VX Supercharged car, but one of the better arguments for buying the raptor kit is that it runs at 9psi and generates around 220rwkw (going by raptor test car, really depends on condition of car and other modifications). The supercharged commodores only run at 6psi (?) and generate around 176kw (?) at the fly. But then again you can easily up the boost with many companies making products to do this. And also the fatory supercharged commies, are built for the supercharger while supercharging a N/A commie with probably decrease engine life.

So really it's a personal choice.

    Just my two cents.

-Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short Phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Agree with acarmody about the notes on factory s/c and bolt-on s/c.
But to add on that, the bolt-on s/c onto an ecotec will achieve a higher power output due to the standard higher compression of the ecotec than the factory L67.
But there are pros and cons on both ways, and the debate can go on and on...
