Definitely look into the conversion away from the dual mass setup that all the Getrags have. Do a search for rigid flywheel conversion (or something similar) and you will get your answers!

Organic clutch plate with HD pressure plate should be more then adequate for someone who 'likes to give it some'. Exedy HD kit is doing the job in mine, and i dont exactly pussy foot around. Once you start to get into the ceramic style button kits you get less and less slip which then starts to increase stresses on your GB components. I dont know about you, but id much rather replace clutches over GB's!!

    Just my POV mate..

oh, i dont have a VT myself mate (well i did, but it was auto!) My current car is a VS with T5 manual.

Just from knowledge and experiences from mates cars (fitted with dual mass getrag setups), its advised that when clutch requires changing, you might as well convert to single mass flywheel to save you in the long run! Initial conversion costs are quite expensive, but when you need to replace the clutch next it will all work out cheaper.
