supercharger belt

Had the VX serviced last week and the mechanic tells me that my supercharger belt needs to be replaced soon so my 2 questions are,
1 What is the life span on them.
2 how much do the cost roughly (dont want to get ripped off)

Mine lasted around 80,000 ks. that no supercharged though. Won't be much different on a supercharged motor. Maybe a little shorter life span.

Normally you replace them when they stretch and have cracks in them.

Yes I aggree. I would say to change it every 60-70,000Km as a rule of thumb.
They cost around the $50 Mark from Holden. You can get aftermarket ones but are a bit harder to find.

Cheers guys I was thinking around $100 for the S/C belt I'm doing all the belts at the same time, also thinking of changing the size of the pully to 9-10 psi.

Good time to change the pulley if the belt needs replacing anyway as a smaller pulley will need a shorter belt.

I was thinking that. Maybe around 10 psi I worked some public holidays over xmas so I want to see how much $ I'll get I want to get some headers also.
