yeah the exact same thing happened to me today. The a/c was working fine this morning, then on the way home from work, the fan stopped suddenly, then went again, a/c was full blast, then the whole fan system inside thecar just stopped completely.
I pulled up and checked all fuses/relays, inside and out and everything was fine, but another thing i noticed was that both thermofans on the radiator had stopped working completely.
Can anyone give me an idea on what may ave caused this and how to fix it... I just hope its something simple.

Start by checking fuses and relays for the blower and A/C.

Ok I really know nothing about this but will explain as best I can..... LMAO

My air cond in my VX was working fine, then suddenly stopped, near no air coming out, So hubby found a thread on here somewhere done up by another member, something about there being a ****load of dust on the fan (behind the glovebox I assume) he got the fan out, cleaned it and my air cond has been perfect since. I tried to find the thread again but cant seem to. But since your thermo fans have stopped too, perhaps completely different issue.....

Speaking of Thermo fans, only 1 of mine work. Dunno why though, so will keep an eye on this maybe there is more to it.

that thought occurred to me, i'll have to check it, but i dont think its the only issue, because it stopped suddenly, then went again, ten completely died.

as far as i know, i think only one thermofan is supposed to contantly be in use, and i think the 2nd one only kicks when as required.

Oh good my car isnt broken then lol

Thats what mine did though, it did it a few times, I would turn it off and on then change the settings and it would work for a while then stop again.

problem solved. turns out the the bushes in the fan motor needed a good thorough cleaning up, there was also a screw loose in there from something, so it was removed. Fan motor generally got a service for $60 and it solved the problem.
