Quick question regarding air-con vents
Good morning guys,
Just had my air-con re-gassed yesterday. Also replaced a unit (not sure what it's called but it looked like it was mounted against the firewall).
Now the air-con seems to be pumping really cool air just fine (like 12-13 degrees), however the air is only coming out of the dash vents. No air is coming out the vents in the centre console and the ones for the back seats. Any ideas on how to get these to pump the air.
Apologies if this belongs in the air-con section but i don't think many of you pros go to that section that often.............
Cheers.

are the vents open? . There is a little wheel type thingy in the middle of the vents which opens and closes them

How do I get to them? Are you able to tell me how I can get to that? This would be nice to no as I am also planning to upgrade the dash (so I need to know how to remove the entire unit).

Does it work in any of the other positions when you turn the dial? Do you hear a hiss when you select different vents?

Not even a peep from the centre console vent. Or the rear ones. The ones in the dash up near the front of the windscreen are pumpin'.

How about your feet? Does it change to that when you turn the dial? If not, you probably have a leak or a hose off. There is a vacuum tank up under the dash as well on the passenger side.

Not sure if I tried that option to tell you the truth. Will give it a go later.
How do I get to the back of the vents?

You will have to pull the dash out.

Is there much to it? i.e. any specific points on the dash that make it pop out? Things such as clips etc.................

Save me typing it out http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...t-cluster.html The first bit tells you how to get the dash out.
