hey ppl i have searched through threads regarding the installation of aftermarket gauge installs and a few other things:
1) when installing a aftermarket oil pressure sender do you need to drain the oil so it doesnt leak or is it when cold that the oil is below that level?
2) do people locktight everything? i will probably but what about everyone else?
3) where have most people installed the gauges do you have dash shots?
4) when installing a vacuum gauge where do people tap into to get the pressure on the engine? i know somewhere on the inlet manifold i just want to get an idea of where someone connected it and what did they use to do it? just the supplied t-piece.
5) would it make a difference using a plastic t piece when using a guage under boosted conditions?
6) is it neccessary to run a blow off valve in a s/c application.
7) the oil sender t-piece is just a 1/4 npt thread?
here is a link i found of the oil pressure gauge i have installed:

thats all i can think of for now but all answers are most appreciated
