I'm just wondering what type of issue you guys are running into as the cars approach 200,000km?

Rear main seal leak, worn seats, suspension bushes, sometimes rough idle, and dents in the panel due by the kick of frustration of having to to fix the car all the time......

So seemingly buying one with K's like that is a recipe for disaster?

Especially if you plan on adding alot more k's to it.

ARGH if it has been well looked after & serviced I cant see how any car is guarentee'd to have these issues. Mines got 360,000kms and origial motor & box. No major problems at all.

Yeah I agree with MONSTER, all cars are different depending on how they have been treated. I've seen cars that look like **** 100 000k's on the clock and cars that look immaculate with 300 000k's on the clock.

Mechanically mine is fine at 206000k's, but the seat material is coming away from the foam, making the interior look a bit tired. The map pockets needed replacing (but that is due to putting too much stuff in there, not kilometers) Other than that I'm happy with it. Door handles can break too. I tend to overlook the kays on a car if it is in good condition.
