    Default THermo fans

Hi Guys, Just blew a heater hose yesterdaythe day we went on holidays, luckily we were in a town and were able to fix it without any damage to engine. However after i refilled and bled the system i let it get up to temp to make sure all was ok and discovered that the thermo fans didn't kick in. i let the temp get to 104 before i turned on the ac and the the thermo fan on the passengers side came on not the drivers, and the temp came back to 91. The moment you turn off the a/c no fans

    Any ideas guys?
    Thanks Dave

Check out the coolant temperature SENSOR, it controls when the ECU turns on the cooling fans. I would also check the relays for the fans too. The coolant sensor is the thick cylindrical brass coloured thing just under the top radiator hose, where it connects to the block. Make sure it is connected properly, and that the connection hasn't got coolant in it, which is entirely possible if you bleed the system from the valve on top of the thermostat outlet.
