The parts should fit ok but the headlights are different on the VX you would have to use the VX headlights with the teardrop shape.

You might try shopping round.
There may be places that make an aftermarket VX 'SS' kit for a VT,
without having to change the lights.
Otherwise as gem said, change the front lights.

Cool vx kit for vt

The vx ss kit will fit depends how far you want 2 go. You considered dual extension hsv tips, monaro , 427 clear lights will look great with the kit? Another idea have you considered replacing the boot red plastic to vx style or just paint over the existing vt red plastic between lights? Several edits need 2 be done but lights main problem for vx kit. You can go to places like ssv.com.au and get a vx clubby kit that will use vt lights with vx style kit. I personally think the vx clubby kit on a vt looks great. Also there a vy kits for vts now. If you live in Adelaide let me know cause there are some places around that can supply paint and fit kits for vt's. A simpler gtr kit is a cheaper alternative but if you want a ss look which is a good idea, keeps the car simple, and effective i sometimes think the ss kit is better. Good luck and hope your vt looks awsome in the future. Cheers SUBDUE

yeah the front lights have been my main area of concern cause of the slightly dif shape............. how much is it to change the lights?

i dont plain on changing the rear lights at all.... the only thing i might do is consider making them have a darker colour coating over them so it blends better with my cars colour(dark green, thinking about going to the new purple)

i already have the clear head lights which look so sexy.... and also have bonnet lights but they are possibly gonna be posted on evay soon if u get my drift.....

thanks guys

I put a vx hsv senator kit(genuine) on my vt 18 months ago, and yep it was only the headlights that were different! Also you will need to consider the fog lights as well. I wired them into my headlight wiring loom, you can get the dash switch separate and wire them in correctly, but it was alot easier to go through headlights! By the way, the results of putting kit on car were awsome!! You might also consider putting some xtra bracing for front bar, because there aint much that holds em in place!
