Default VX Supercharged coughing and missfiring on startup + hissing

There seems to be a hissing sound coming from the passenger side of the engine, I can't seem to make out where from though. The bigger hose coming from the throttle body seems fine but there are a few small hoses at top of the back of the blower, one of them appears to have cracks in it but i can't tell if there's any air coming out of it. What's a typical place to expect a leak from, because I have no idea where its coming from but theres definately a leak, car drives fine once warmed up but still coughs a bit on idle. Anyone?

Here's a pic of the engine. The arrow is where there are cracks but I'm not sure what that hose is for and I can't seem to feel any air on it so it's hard to tell. Can anyone from this pic be able to tell me where air might be coming out to cause this problem? Thanks.

It is common for that hose to go. Some 2mm internal diameter vacuum hose should see it sorted. Also check on the back of the heads that the hoses are slipped on fully to the boost control solenoid, (one on each head and connected across the back of the LIM). Check under the throttle body, there is a hose connector there too as well as on the side closest to the M90.

Yeah that little hose does have vissible cracks in it but I can't pin point the leak, I'm not sure if it's the culprit. I'm not sure about the oring on the injectors.

Hey chargedvx6, where are the hoses that connect to the boost solenoid located?

All fixed. Was a loose vaccum hose behind the throttle body, not vissible in that pic on the SC engine.

in future if you wanna find a vacuum leak, air escaping a pipe etc. cut off a length of garden hose, hold one end up to your ear and move around and suspect areas, when you hear air flowing through the garden hose making a hissing sound, theres your problem

The one under the throttle body right? Slippery customer, easy to miss.
