Red face Vt Acclaim looking 4 sickness

Hey guys, i was hpoing you all could help me . Im new to this **** and on a f..k woeful pension, but Im trying to sweeten up my ride but im not really sure where to start. Ive got a stock Vt v6. Nothing cool, only fe2 and a gay looking ss kit which does my head in. I was thinking about getting roller rockers and a c.a.i. to kick things off. hopefully followed by a sweet under car system . Can anyone tell me whats the best way to head first ? ? thanks way heaps in advance too ..

hmmmmm well on a pitiful income you porbably best finding a new hobby, because cars cost money. in saying that though, there's been heaps of discussion on mods for the humble taxi motor all over the internut.
rockers will be a great addition to any engine, but don't expect a quarter mile monster. if you're not replacing cam then go for 1.8-1.9:1 rockers. there are a few manufacturers, and yalla terra are a site sponsor here and have a section devoted to their products near the top of the main page.

undercar system, do you mean an exhaust? if you do, then go for a full exhaust (headers and catback) go for 2.5inch catback and pretty much whichever headers you like (some are better than others, but I won't go into that detail) a highflow cat isn't really necessary unless you have a highly potent ride - stock will be fine (or you could use cats of an LS1).

your car should already have a CAI, but an additional unit could be of benefit. best idea is to look at the yalla terra unit, or you could construct your own from a length of 3inch convolute tube

like I said, the mods you want are covered in MASSIVE detail over this forum, so have a look around at what you like. my info is just a nuts-and-bolts rundown

If you dont have much cash start off with a K@N air filter and then the exhaust. You could get the extractors first then the rest of the system, but as TheForgotten said have a search around on here the are some very tough VT's and lots of people willing to help with questions.

Post some pics thats a job I wouldn't tackle, if it has anything to do with the power supply I pay someone, cause I'd most lucky burn my car to the ground haha.

Well the ac control chip board i just wired up with some 3mm leds and resistors ( havent checked yet ) but have done same to the headlight switch and tested and looks awesome. It was a bit fiddly wiring up the resistors and getting them to fit in a small space but its starting to look really good. The problem im having now is the actual speedo cluster.. . I will take pics when im done and show ya ..
